About Lingxin

Hi! I'm a native Mandarin speaker, currently at university, and I've lived in Ireland for eight years. I'm fully fluent in both Chinese and English, so if you're ever stuck on a word or don't know how to phrase something, feel free to just ask me in English — no need to struggle through it alone.

When I was learning English, I remember feeling too nervous to speak in case I made mistakes, so I really understand how intimidating it can feel to practice a new language out loud. There's no judgment here, ever. My goal is simply to give you a relaxed, friendly space to practice speaking Mandarin and build your confidence.

About the lesson

My sessions are relaxed, judgment-free conversations rather than structured lessons, no textbooks, no memorizing vocabulary lists! We'll chat naturally in Mandarin about everyday topics, and I'll gently correct your pronunciation and tones as we go. This works best if you already have some basic Chinese and want to build confidence speaking it out loud. Perfect for practicing real conversation in a friendly, low-pressure environment.
