About Care
I am a native Mandarin speaker from China now living in Melbourne. I recently completed my Master of Media and Communication at Monash University. Living and studying in Australia has given me strong cross-cultural communication skills and a deep understanding of the challenges students face when learning a new language.
I am patient and passionate about helping others build confidence in Mandarin. Having learned and worked in both Chinese and English-speaking environments, I understand how to explain language concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
I enjoy making lessons practical, engaging, and personalized, with a focus on helping students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported throughout their learning journey.

I offer personalised Mandarin lessons for beginners to intermediate learners, including students, professionals, and anyone interested in learning practical Chinese for study, work, travel, or everyday communication.
As a native Mandarin speaker from China and a Master of Media and Communication graduate from Monash University, I understand that every student learns differently. My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s interests, learning pace, goals, and current language level.
Lessons focus on practical communication, pronunciation, listening, speaking confidence, and real-life language use rather than only memorising textbook content. I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can learn naturally and build confidence step by step.
Lesson structure, pace, and learning plans can be discussed in person and customised to ensure the most effective learning experience for each student.
