About Brice
I am a dedicated and patient French tutor with a strong background in Information Technology, which strongly influences my structured and logical teaching approach. My experience in IT has trained me to break down complex systems into clear, understandable steps—an approach I apply directly to language learning.
I enjoy helping learners build confidence in French through well-organized, practical lessons that emphasize understanding rather than memorization. I focus on clear explanations, real-life examples, and consistent progression, creating an environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving.
Having worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, I adapt my teaching style to suit different levels and learning preferences. Whether a student is a complete beginner or refining advanced skills, my goal is to make French accessible, logical, and enjoyable.

My approach to private tutoring is structured, personalised, and learner-centred. I focus on helping students understand how the French language works, not just memorise rules. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s level, goals, and learning pace, ensuring steady and confident progress.
What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to break down complex grammar into simple, practical explanations and immediately apply them through conversation, exercises, and real-life examples. I place strong emphasis on pronunciation, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence, while reinforcing grammar and vocabulary in a natural way.
I am proficient in French and English, and I am able to teach in both languages. This allows me to support beginners who need clear explanations in English, as well as more advanced students who prefer full immersion in French.
A typical lesson includes a short review, introduction of new material, guided practice, and practical application through conversation or exercises. Lessons are interactive and goal-oriented, with clear takeaways after each session.
My lessons are aimed at beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including school students, university students, adults, and professionals. I also support learners preparing for exams, improving conversational French, or developing French for travel, work, or everyday communication.
