About Favour
I am a Native Italian undergraduate Pharmacy student at Swansea University who was previously an A* language and science student at both sixth and GCSE. My French sixth form teacher was the one who suggested I'd tutor languages because they were sincerely my best subject. I was originally born in Italy before I moved to the UK for my studies. Florence is my hometown where I lived for 11 years. Initially there was a language barrier when I first came but after 2 years I became fluent in English and passionate about French. As for my qualifications; I got an A in A level French, and an A* in both French and Italian at GCSE level.

So the lessons will take place online; on either Skype, Zoom or Teams (Preferably) and my first aim will be to understand what level my student is at, and I'll try my best to contact my student prior so they give me an overview of their grades at school, the exam board or what level they personally believe they are at and what they'd like to learn. After that I plan to assess this by giving them a little quiz the first time when I meet them. And after this we will go forward to learning new things or brush up on things that they are not confident at. I personally make sure to test my students' knowledge quite frequently, given that these active methods are the ones which will end up producing the best results as what is learnt using active recall techniques stays in your brain much longer. My lessons vary from 20 minutes to an hour long (maximum 2 hours). Finally, my lessons are for anyone who wishes to learn Italian any level.
