About Cecilia
I am an MSc candidate at The London School of Economics. I have a degree in European Studies and International Law and I have been working as a private tutor for about 7 years now. It has always been my passion to introduce students to my native language or help intermediate students advance their fluency and vocabulary for more proficient skills.
I have taught approximately 10 young men and women from different national and degree backgrounds and most of them have applied Italian in their current job position or course of studies.

Depending on the degree of knowledge of the language and the needs of the individual student, I will assess the methodology. Generally, if the student is looking for repetition of a class or course he/she is taking, I would follow the textbook guidance. For beginner or intermediate students looking to learn the language "from scratch", I tend to mix grammar and vocabulary so as to give them a better insight into the natural way to speak the language. Advanced students looking to improve fluency are encouraged to choose a conversation topic from which a debate can start.
