About Luise
Hello:) my name is Luise and I would love to become your German tutor. I'm a native German speaker with a big love for languages and helping people learn them. I’ve tutored German, Italian, and Latin, and I’ve spent many years working as a camp counselor, which really helped me become patient, encouraging, and great with younger students. I’m now studying at UTS and speak German, Italian, English, and Portuguese fluently. I like to keep my lessons positive, relaxed, and easy to follow, so students feel supported and confident as they learn. My goal is always to make language learning enjoyable while helping each student improve at their own pace.

My approach to tutoring is centered on making German feel natural and accessible. I focus on clear explanations, lots of speaking practice, and using real-life examples to build confidence. I adapt my teaching techniques to each student, combining grammar support, vocabulary building, conversation exercises, and, for teenage learners, modern pop culture, music, and media to make the language easier and more relatable. A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I adjust depending on individual needs. As a native German speaker with experience helping others learn languages, I create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students can progress at their own pace. My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced learners of all ages, including school students, adults, and anyone wanting to improve fluency, pronunciation, or everyday communication skills.
