About Elena
I am originally from a small town near Munich in Germany and have spent the last four years in the UK. Currently, I am studying Criminology and Psychology at University after being an Au Pair in London for three years. During this time I have gained valuable experience tutoring the children in German and French whilst also helping with other subjects, especially in conjunction with online lessons during covid times.

I believe language lessons are most fun when stepping away from typical classroom approaches and engaging in conversations and lessons that are more closely connected to real-world scenarios. That is why I like to display links between particular language characteristics and highlight how native speakers would engage with each other, rather than merely sticking to grammar and vocabulary lessons.
My lessons are open to everyone, no matter what age or motivations that bring you to me. Whether that is to improve grades at school or university, wanting to brush up on skills for work or simply wanting to learn new skills. Furthermore, I am happy to accommodate your needs in terms of lesson length and in-person or online teaching.
