About Lena
I'm originally from Germany and currently in the final year of my Master of Education at UCC. I’ve taught in Irish secondary schools and am very familiar with the Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert German curricula. I bring not only my native fluency but also a teacher’s understanding of how to support students in achieving their potential — both in the exam and in real-world language use.

I take a personalized, student-centered approach in my lessons, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and all exam components — including written, aural, and oral practice. I aim to build each student’s confidence and fluency, with particular emphasis on oral skills in the lead-up to exams. Lessons are one hour long and take place online via Zoom. I’m a native German speaker in the final year of my Master of Education at UCC. I’ve worked in Irish secondary schools and am very familiar with both the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate German curricula. My lessons are suitable for all secondary school students — whether they’re aiming for top grades or need extra support.
