My name is Anna Janke and about three years ago, after finishing my master of education in beautiful Freiburg, Germany I moved to Scotland to work as a language assistant and German teacher. With my dog Nala, I explore the surroundings and always have my camera and a book on me

My lessons are usually very much speaking-based to give pupils At the moment I'm teaching from Primary level to 18 years old, and even an adult class in Dollar.
I like to make the content interesting and relevant for my pupils, but I'm also familiar with the exam formats in Scotland and England, so happy to help with exam preparation, too!
A lesson can be anything from 30-60 min, as long as you can focus ! :-)

One of Anna’s key strengths is her emphatic nature that makes it easy for her to adapt to the individual needs of her students. She is highly motivated and always comes up with fun exercises, for example by including German music or other aspects of German culture. To me, her style of teaching seems suitable for learners of all ages - I cannot recommend her enough! :)
