About Ines
My name is Ines, and I am half French, half Spanish. I studied in the French educational system while living in several different countries, which has made me fluent in English and very comfortable working with people from all backgrounds. I have taught French to children before, and I am equally open and enthusiastic about teaching adults or anyone who wants to improve their language skills. I am currently enrolled as an international student at the University of Edinburgh. I have always loved languages, communication, and helping others learn, and tutoring allows me to share that passion in a meaningful way. Teaching French is something I truly enjoy because it gives me the chance to support students, help them gain confidence, and see them progress lesson after lesson. I am known for being patient, reliable, and attentive, and I take great care to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Having achieved excellent results in my French Baccalauréat, I bring both solid linguistic skills and a serious, professional approach to teaching. What motivates me most is making learning enjoyable and helping each student reach their goals at their own pace.

As a French native speaker living in Edinburgh, I focus on creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. My lessons are fully personalised: I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, goals, and pace. I like to combine clear explanations with practical exercises, speaking practice, and real-life examples so that learners feel confident using French from the very first session. A typical lesson lasts one hour, but I can adjust the duration depending on your needs. I work with beginners to intermediate learners, whether you want help with schoolwork, improve your grammar, prepare for exams, practise conversation, or simply learn French for travel or personal interest. I achieved 18/20 in the French Baccalauréat, which reflects my strong academic background and attention to detail. I also speak multiple languages (fluent in Spanish and notions of Italian and Japanese) and have lived in several countries (London, Paris, Tokyo), which helps me understand the challenges of learning a new language and supporting students with patience and clarity. My lessons are ideal for students, adults, complete beginners, or anyone looking for friendly and reliable guidance in French. We'll make learning fun and effective!
