About Mathis
Bonjour and bienvenue! Je suis Mathis Geffroy, a musician and a native French speaker passionate about education, languages, and helping people achieve their goals. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and am currently pursuing a PhD, focusing on self-discipline and resilience in education. With over 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels, I know that learning a new language is not just about studying, it’s about building confidence, staying motivated, and celebrating EVERY small step. Having experienced the journey of learning English myself, I truly understand both the challenges and the excitement that come with mastering a new language. My lessons are structured but always lively. I use videos, quizzes, screen sharing, and real-time feedback to create an interactive and dynamic learning experience adapted just for you. I place great importance on confidence building, precision, and developing independence in language use. Lessons typically last one hour, but can be adjusted depending on the learner’s needs and availability. I use a variety of tools to make lessons interesting and engaging, including videos, interactive quizzes, live feedback, and screen sharing to support visual learning and real interaction. I specialise in teaching all levels (from complete beginners to advanced learners) and all ages (young learners, teenagers, adults). Whether you are learning French for studies, work, travel, or personal growth, I adapt the content and rhythm of the lessons to your specific profile.
