About Flynn
I am half-Australian and half-French, but grew up with a French education both in Australia and Switzerland. Having lived in the US for 8 years, I then went on to pursue my studies in Montreal, Canada. Now, I recently moved to the D.C. area for a new job and am enjoying living in the city!

French is a very daunting, difficult language to learn, and I believe that the best way for you to learn is by staying motivated and genuinely excited to learn French. I don’t see teaching French as simply writing dictées or memorizing a handful of words, but rather through speaking-focused activities that keep students engaged but also allows them to implement what they learn in real-world conversations they would actually have with a French-speaker. My lessons would be 1/2 learning and 1/2 practice, with the expectation that students come with the desire to learn and implement their knowledge in speaking exercises.
