About Andrea
Born and bred in Spain to a Spanish mum and English dad, I am a bilingual (Spanish and English), enthusiastic and devoted Foreign Language teacher. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by more than 9 years teaching experience.
I really enjoy being a private language tutor as every student and every lesson is completely different. My experience goes from teaching people who are studying and preparing for specific language exams to others that just want to improve their communication skills or people who have never spoken the language before and want to start from zero. I have also taught all ages from toddlers to adults. I use different methods and approaches with different students by really taking into account what they want to get out of the class, how they feel more comfortable learning, what there level is and what things they want to improve.
Apart from the more traditional language classes I am also experienced in teaching a foreign language through Arts, including: Drama, Arts and Crafts and Music and Movement. I firmly believe that this is a great way to learn a new language, since you are learning in a very natural way whilst enjoying yourself.

I consider myself a very enthusiastic person and I adapt my teaching method to every student. I like my classes to be creative, stimulating and dynamic. I specialise in tailoring interactive and participatory classes to the students’ needs and interests. My aim is to make my students engage at all times and that is why I try to choose topics that interest them and that they can relate to.
