About Sonia
I have experience teaching English to adults through the Georgetown University Institute of Women, Peace and Security. I have taught reading in English and Spanish to elementary and middle school students in Washington DC. I enjoy teaching and learning languages and would love to be your teacher!

I teach fun and interactive lessons for all ages. I have experience teaching 3 year olds to adults. My emphasis is on learning a language through speaking and reading (not grammar worksheets!). A typical lesson would include a conversation, reading or video, and a specific topic that the student wants to work on (i.e culture, grammar, pronunciation).
