About Michael

I am TEFL certified and have been teaching English here in Austin, Texas for the past one and-a- half years. I understand the difficulty of learning English. Therefore, I have adopted a teaching style that includes patience and encouragement. I am approachable, very easy-going and keep lessons light (especially for beginners).. My teaching style is relaxed. I enjoy seeing students make progress and always strive for success.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment. Methods include reading newspaper articles or questions and answers leading to interesting conversations between myself and student.

I've been taking classes with Michael for almost 2 months, and I've made such a good progress in my English abilities. We speak in a natural environment and he also speaks very naturally, what helps me to better understand native speakers. Besides, I've learned lots of new words as well as improved my accent.
I totally recommend Michael as a tutor!
