About Ryan
Hi, I’m Ryan. I studied Sociology at Florida State University, with a minor in Russian language. As I’m learning a second language myself, I’m also working toward a TEFL certification so I can better support ESL students.
I work with intermediate and advanced learners of all ages and can adapt to any time zone. I’m based in the United States and focus on helping students build confidence and communicate more naturally in English.
Through my own language studies, I regularly interact with English-learning native Russian speakers, so I’m familiar with both the language and the common challenges that come with learning English.

I start by asking about your goals—whether you want to sound more natural, improve your speaking, reduce your accent, or just feel more confident.
My teaching style is relaxed and conversation-based. We focus on real-life English and actual conversations rather than just memorizing rules. Since I’m learning Russian myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and how to overcome the barriers.
Lessons usually include casual conversation, useful vocabulary, pronunciation help, and simple, practical grammar. I keep things low-pressure and based on your interests, so it feels enjoyable rather than a chore.
My goal is to help you sound natural and confident, not just “correct."
My lessons are designed for native Russian speakers at any level, from beginners to advanced learners.
