I am a native English speaker, with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I attended language-immersion schools from K-8. After graduating high school, I chose to continue my education in Spanish and pursue a Bachelor of arts degree in the language.

My teaching method is deliberately casual. I like to offer my students a safe and environment, in which all participation is encouraged. Students need to be engaged in order to learn, and engagement requires interest and a small degree of confidence. Therefore, I like to create a space in which even the most quiet student would feel comfortable participating and joining the conversation.
