About Vanessa
My name is Vanessa, and I am an English and Writing tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students communicate better, write cleaner, and think clearer.
I hold a BSc in English, so you are not just learning from someone who is good at the subject; you are learning from someone who studied it deeply and knows how to teach it the right way.
Over the years, I have worked with primary school kids, secondary school students, university students, and working professionals. No matter the level, my goal is always the same: to make sure you actually understand, not just memorize.
I teach fully online, which means you can learn from anywhere, at any time that works for you. All you need is a device and the will to improve.

I am an English and Writing tutor with a BSc in English. I work with students at every level, from primary school kids just learning to read and write, to university students, working adults, and professionals who want to communicate better.

How I Teach
I keep things simple and clear. I go step by step so nothing feels rushed or confusing. I use real examples and visuals to explain ideas, and I give lots of practice so lessons actually stick. Every session is built around your goals, whether that is passing an exam, writing better at work, or just getting more confident with English.
What Makes Me Different
I just don’t teach, I make sure you understand. I am patient, I pay attention to where each student struggles, and I adjust my teaching to fit you. My students have passed IELTS, improved their grades, written stronger essays, and grown more confident in their communication. I also give out PDF files at the end of each lesson, so you have what to take home with.
