About Thembinkosi
Hello, I am Thembinkosi from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. I am a native English and Zulu speaker with 5 years of informal tutoring experience in my community in Umlazi.
I love teaching because I know how it feels to be shy to speak a new language. I am patient, friendly and I celebrate small progress. I enjoy reading, learning about cultures and helping people connect through language.

My lessons are friendly, patient and focused on real conversation. I don't just teach grammar from a book, we practise speaking from the first minute.
Methodology:
- English: pronunciation, daily conversation, interview preparation and confidence building. Simple explanations with lots of practice.
- Zulu / Xhosa: perfect for beginners, travellers or people with family in KZN. We learn greetings, essential phrases, and cultural understanding.
I adapt to your level — kids, adults, or complete beginners are all welcome. Lessons can be online or in person around Durban. You will get homework, corrections and encouragement after each class.
