About Émilie
Bonjour, ça va bien? My name is Émilie and I am a French-Canadian college student. I study educational psychology. French is my first language and I am bilingual. I am very versatile. I can teach a beginner as much as an advanced student. I am confident in my teaching skills, and I think one of my best assets is that I can readjust and modify any lesson to make it customized to the student. I try to make my lessons as fun as possible while staying serious and professional. I often give exercises and homework based on the student's interests. I am patient, I always follow the student's learning rhythm and I take my time. I think I am pretty funny and dynamic, and I'm eager to help you learn about my beautiful native language!

I adapt my lessons based on your needs, whether you're a beginner who wants to start learning French, or if you already know French and you simply want to get better at it. I teach people who want to learn French for fun as much as students who need help with their French class and homework.
I try to make my lessons fun and interesting. Usually, the first session consists of getting to know each other and evaluating your skill level. I want to make sure we are a great fit and that you are comfortable. We will determine what aspect of the French language you want to learn. More specifically, if you want to concentrate on your writing, your speaking, your reading or a mix of all of them!
