About Haoming
I'm Harrison, a student from China attending college in Canada. I was born in Beijing and moved to Shanghai when I was three. I spent twenty years in China and have been in Canada for two years.
Having spent significant time living, studying, and engaging with communities in both communities, I've cultivated a profound understanding of the nuances of Eastern and Western cultures.
This bicultural experience equips me with a unique cross-cultural communication and education perspective. I understand firsthand the challenges and joys of learning a new language and embracing a foreign culture, especially for students with a Western background. My approach to teaching goes beyond mere language instruction; I strive to bridge cultural gaps, making the rich tapestry of Chinese culture accessible and relatable to you.
