My name is Itoshi Zei and I am a 23 years old Chinese-Japanese living in US. I grew up in ShenZhen throughout my life, and I took IB Chinese A High Level during high school. Im proud to be Chinese, and I can't wait to share the language and culture with everyone :)

**Procedure:**
**1. Introduction (5 minutes):**
- Greet the students in Chinese (你好! - Nǐ hǎo!).

- Establish a friendly and supportive learning environment.
**2. Warm-up Activity - Introduction (10 minutes):**
- Have students practice introducing themselves in Chinese, using phrases like "我叫... (Wǒ jiào...)" for "My name is..." and "我是... (Wǒ shì...)" for "I am...".
**3. Vocabulary and Expressions (15 minutes):**
- Introduce basic greetings: 你好 (Nǐ hǎo) - Hello, 再见 (Zàijiàn) - Goodbye, 早上好 (Zǎoshang hǎo) - Good morning, 下午好 (Xiàwǔ hǎo) - Good afternoon, 晚上好 (Wǎnshàng hǎo) - Good evening.
- Teach common expressions like 谢谢 (Xièxiè) - Thank you, 不客气 (Bù kèqì) - You're welcome, 对不起 (Duìbuqǐ) - I'm sorry, and 没关系 (Méiguānxi) - It's okay.
**4. Pronunciation Practice (10 minutes):**
- Play audio recordings of the vocabulary and expressions for students to listen and repeat.
- Focus on correct pronunciation and tones.
**5. Role-play Activity (15 minutes):**
- Divide the class into pairs.
- Provide scenarios for students to practice greetings and simple conversations.
- Encourage them to use the vocabulary and expressions learned in the lesson.
