About Qilin
I am a proficient teacher who is qualified in teaching Chinese and Japanese. I have a bachelor degree in Arts and Education (secondary) from UNSW. I have been working as a language teacher (teach Chinese mostly) since 2017 and Chinese is my native language.

It is my teaching philosophy that class needs to be informative and inspiring. I always try to incorporate content from different sources such as traditional Chinese folklores, movies, songs, as well as different online tools, for instance, Language Perfect, google classroom, Kahoot, Edmodo, and IWB. Also, I am experienced in working with BYOD classroom. Apart from accessing the resources prepared by me, students are always encouraged to use their own devices to do some research on the topics, or maybe just use google translate instead waiting for my model answer. I also value the cultivation of their appreciation to the culture differences as well as their awareness of their own culture.
