About Mary
Hi! My name is Mariyah (doesn't exist in English, but through my Portuguese lessons I'll teach you the proper pronunciation)! I was born in Brazil into a Brazilian diplomatic family, which meant I grew up living in amazing places like Canada, Israel, Chile, and Kenya before settling back in Brazil. Languages have always been my passion, other than Portuguese and English, I also speak fluent Spanish—I’m currently refining my fourth language (French) and diving into my fifth (Italian)! I've been a teacher for about seven years now, and my purpose in this life is helping my students reach their goals, as I've also been helped! Teaching Portuguese is something I truly love. It combines my lifelong interest in learning with the joy of helping others connect through language. With my cultural experiences and love for teaching, I strive to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable! Vamos aprender juntos?
