About Xinran
Hi, I’m Xinran, an international student from Beijing, currently studying IT at UTS. As a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing, I speak clear and standard Mandarin and enjoy sharing both the Chinese language and culture with students.
I have tutoring experience in Beijing, where I taught Chinese and English to middle school and high school students, including students preparing for important entrance examinations. This experience helped me become patient, responsible and confident when working with young learners.
I am friendly, approachable and encouraging, and I always try to make students feel comfortable and supported. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I explain things clearly and adapt my teaching style to each student’s personality, level and goals. I hope to help students enjoy learning Chinese and build real confidence in speaking it.

My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I teach Mandarin pronunciation, speaking, vocabulary, reading, writing and everyday conversation through clear explanations, practical exercises and interactive activities.
I have previous tutoring experience in Beijing, where I taught English and Chinese to middle school and high school students preparing for important entrance examinations. This experience helped me develop patience, responsibility and the ability to explain difficult ideas in a simple and encouraging way.
I am approachable and easy to communicate with, so students can feel comfortable asking questions and practising without fear of making mistakes. Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adult beginners, and usually last 45 to 60 minutes. Each lesson can be adjusted according to the student’s age, level and learning needs.
