I believe that learning a new language is an experience and adventure that must be lived and blending in the experience and the culture itself not just memorizing and studying, Arabic language is the richest and the widest language in the vocabularies, expressions, idioms and synonyms.
How to start!! Always depend on the level you are at and the target from learning the language but basically I prefer to work on both grammatic and the language rules and the experience of the language itself both in parallel, Like for example it's much more easier to remember and understand the meaning of a vocabulary or an expression within a situation or a daily routine example than translating it into your native language as we all learnt how speak our mother tongue from scratch with no links between it and any other languages, I also like to dedicate an extra 15 mins of free chatting after every lesson in a random subject of our choice and it's a very effective way on the long run to improve the language skills especially listening and speaking, and it's definitely free of charge as included in the hourly rate already.
