About Brita
I am a certified somatic coach, language educator, and lifelong learner passionate about bridging embodiment and expression. With over a decade of experience teaching adults across cultures, I have developed an approach that makes language learning mindful, creative, and deeply personal. My background in German philology, philosophy, and somatic psychology allows me to teach not just words, but the emotional presence behind them.
I believe language is more than a communication tool. It is a way of inhabiting new perspectives and connecting authentically with ourselves and others. Teaching German through embodiment is my way of helping people rediscover ease, curiosity, and confidence in how they speak and express themselves in the world.

My classes are designed for adults who wish to connect with language through presence, creativity, and embodiment. Rather than rote memorization, I invite you to explore German as a living, sensory experience—something you can feel, hear, and express from the body. Each session begins with grounding and awareness, followed by conversational immersion and grammar made intuitive through movement, imagery, and metaphor.
With 8+ years of teaching experience, my method blends professional linguistic structure with somatic awareness, supporting learners who seek confidence, authenticity, and joy in communication. I see every language as a fable - a world of rhythm, story, and emotional nuance - and my role is to help you not just learn German, but embody it as part of your everyday self-expression.
