I am a student at a University in Canada who is also learning french and its historical context. I am currently in my third year and I hope to finish with a major in French and Studio Art. I enjoy the language and the culture and hope to share it with you.
I have tutored most of my life and I feel confident and comfortable with others. I love reading french poems and historical books.

I have studied translation of French to english and in depth, grammar. I specify in Elementary and high school levels. Usually I like to start with some reading (depening on the level I am working with) and some simple conjugation of verbs. I also communicate in both language for the student to feel more comfortable with me and the language. Reading small sentences is also another important factor in my delivery in teaching, working with the prononciation of words and mostly communicating in French.
What I believe is very important is also listening to the speaker. A little example of my course plan: To begin, we will do a little introduction in French (if possible, if not, then we will use the language you are comfortable with), then I will explain what the course will be about, and do some simple reading, then we will end with some basic grammar.
