About Gj
I consider myself a global citizen, having grown up and lived in a variety of countries, including Nigeria, Venezuela, United States, United Arab Emirates, and England, where I most recently completed medical school and qualified as a medical doctor! I am looking to transition to practicing in the United States and will be applying to residency in 2023. I am an avid Soccer fan enjoy watching premier league weekly! I am a volunteer soccer coach with Soccer Without Borders (SWB), where I train refugee and immigrant youth weekly in an after-school soccer program.

My approach to teaching is one that is interactive, flexible, and collaborative! I focus on creating an individualized, structured and personalized program for each tutee which will encourage you to improve your study strategies so that you can become an independent and active learner!
Approach to Teaching:
Each session will typically last one hour and will involve a variety of teaching methods, including working through scenario-based learning examples, multiple-choice questions, and study tips for consolidating the information.
Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor:
- President of Medical School Peer Teaching Society (2017-2021)
•Organized over 150 peer-led teaching sessions to medical students across all years
•Developed a ‘Teach the Teacher’ course which consisted of workshop-style sessions which provided basic training in theories, principles, and teaching tools to our peer tutors
- Volunteer Tutor for International Refugee Committee (2022-current)
- Volunteer High School Tutor through the organization Soccer Without Borders (2022-current)
