I believe real learning begins when a student feels understood. In our first few classes, I spend time learning about the student’s background, goals, strengths, and struggles. I ask simple questions like: • “What makes learning enjoyable for you?” • “Which part of the topic feels confusing?” • “How do you prefer to express what you’ve learned?” This helps me design a learning path that feels natural, not forced. 2. Personalized Learning Maps Instead of using one fixed teaching style, I create a Personal Learning Map for each student. This includes: • What the student already knows • What they need to learn next • Practical examples connected to their daily life • A weekly micro-goal plan, so progress feels achievable These maps make the student feel guided and not overwhelmed.
