My teaching method includes teaching student's how to read music. It is extremely important to understand the basics of reading music, and how it relates to piano performance. When I meet a new student, I like to discuss with them their interests, favorite genres of music, and incorporate those into the lessons.

Details
Rates vary based on a monthly payment. I recommend that beginning students have a weekly lesson of thirty minutes, while an late intermediate or early advanced student attends a weekly lesson for an hour.
30min monthly payment = $120 60min monthly payment = $160
The first lesson is free an will last 30 minutes. This gives me a chance to understand the student's interests and current abilities, and recommend to them the 30 minutes or 60 minute weekly lessons.
