About Eduardo
Curriculum vitae Eduardo García Pérez, a musician - cellist born in Santander (Spain), began his musical studies at the Ataulfo Argenta Conservatory in the same city. He later completed his studies at the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga Conservatory in Bilbao and later moved to Holland where he completed his studies at the conservatories of Zwolle and Utrecht (Holland). Its main professors in this process have been: - Richard Vandra, Maria Hall, Jaap Kruithof, Jeroen Reuling and Ran Varon. He has taken contact and worked with renowned international cellists such as: - Michael Haram, Tsuyosi Tsutsumi, François Guy, Marcio Carneiro, Smuel Magen, Jacques Doe and Jean Decroos among others. Since its great passion, pedagogy in its many facets, has developed projects such as bringing the integral of the SUITES DE BACH FOR VIOLONCELLO SOLO, to places where these events are rare. They have developed a conscious work with the public that goes from understanding the human value of the concert - what we take as individuals when we listen to a concert - to the creation by the spectator of active listening that goes beyond prejudices established with those who so usually approach the music. These concerts were developed with great success in scenarios such as: - Basilica Hispanoamericana de la Merced, Madrid, October 2014. - Music Festival of Calatañazor, Soria, Church of the Castle and church of Soledad, July 2011, 2012,2013 and 2014. - Almazán, Soria, December 2011 - Rodalquilar Church, Almería, September 2012. - Parish of Our Lady of Light, Madrid, November 2012. - Church of El Salvador, Lozoya, Madrid, July 2014 - Church of Santa María de the Aguas Vivas, Hervàs, Cáceres, August 2014. From this perspective, pedagogic-artististica, has collaborated in projects as "listening to stairs", initiative for a new cultural impulse based on the relationship between the arts, the need for the development of consciousness of the spectator and research for the development of new pedagogical foundations. He has collaborated with MICHAEL CHEKHOV LONDON STUDIO, in particular with actor and director Graham Dixon in projects that integrate the relationship between Theater and Music. He has collaborated with the hospital PRINCIPE DE ASTURIAS in Alcalá de Henares, developing musical activities in different medical disciplines such as Internal Medicine , Oncology and Psychiatry. His musical activity has led him to countries such as; - Switzerland, during the Chamber Music Days of Morges between 1998 and 2002. - Belgium, Chamber Music Days D'Enghien 2002. - Argentina, Concerts with piano trio with violinist Álvaro Gantuz and pianists Rosa Inés Batura and Gabriel Lofvall in concerts developed in 2006 and 2007 in the Auditorio Adolfo Calle and the Teatro Independencia respectively. - Holland, Concerts in IJSBREKER Amsterdam in 2000. Between 2005 and 2006 MADRID CHAMBER MUSIC INTERNATIONAL was established with the violinists Silvia Mondino, Álvaro Gantuz and the pianist Nelson Ojeda Valdés with great cameristica activity in different halls of Madrid. As well as the collaboration in the project ROMEO AND JULIETA with the company of Dance AL ARTIIS and the music composed by the Argentine composer Claudio Bruzzesse. As a teacher he has worked between 2006 and 2011 at the Arcos de Madrid musical teaching center and since 2005 at the Micael Free School in Las Rozas, Madrid, as well as private tutor since 2002. He plays a Hungarian violoncello by luthier György Tanczer year 1919.

Dear cellists and lovers of this instrument: My name is Eduardo Garcia and I am a cellist musician. During all this time, over 15 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching a few people, and with all of them I have lived the experience of their love and passion for this instrument that I want, somehow, to tell. With each of them, I have lived the experience of being able to listen, to know and to recognize, and to know that I could not give the same contents to everyone in the same way: that we have to know the students to adapt the knowledge to their individuality. That is the magic of the meeting between the teacher and the student; of mutual listening is born the true hierarchy, and the relationship that then occurs goes beyond a mere transfer of knowledge. With each of the students a special and special relationship has been born; from children to adults, from those who started from zero to those who already had certain knowledge ... From those students of the conservatory in search of answers to their questions, to the professionals with whom have sometimes been a few meetings to be open a new path in your life within the musical. With all of them I have learned and continue to learn not only the importance of learning the instrument, but also the process of transformation - of compression - that lives in each one of them. And, for that very reason, I also live those processes. I also wanted to tell you the enormous effort that each of them makes in a particular way, each in its own way; some struggling with hours of study while having to study high school, the smaller because their parents do the impossible many times to accompany them 10 minutes each day with the instrument, adults because with their jobs and their lives - lawyers, doctors , computer scientists, teachers, mothers, parents ... can hardly study a little every day ... and yet there they are, juggling to take that precious time to learn. Advanced students and professionals because they face themselves to enter the interior of music and be able to create from it. To all of you and to those who are coming, thank you! Attendance requirements: For work reasons, the teacher will be in Madrid for one week, and two will not.
(Soy músico aunque no profesional).
View more recommendations
