About Seth
I have been playing guitar and writing music for over 15 years. I am a signed folk musician with a desire to pass on my knowledge to students looking to learn guitar. After graduating from university in 2012, I found my myself working for The National Theatre as a self employed guitarist, and in recording studios as a recording engineer. Since then, I have been composing, writing and producing my own music as well as for other artists.

I prefer to teach based around the concept of feel and listening being the most important aspects of learning the play the guitar. Learning the theory is undeniably important, but getting a feel for the instrument and the way it relates to your hands, in terms of shapes and touch, is the best way in my opinion to open up your playing ability. We can start with some basic theory and technique, and move on to learning some songs that you know well which will allow you to ‘hear’ what you are doing, we can then move onto more advanced theory such as CAGED theory, fingering styles, inversions, scales and much more!!
