About Hannah
I am a qualified secondary music teacher currently working in South Liverpool. I hold a BMus and a PGDE in Secondary Music and have over nine years’ teaching experience. I enjoy helping students develop their understanding of music, whether preparing for ABRSM theory exams, GCSE, A-Level, or Scottish National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher qualifications, or learning theory for personal enrichment.

Music theory lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each pupil’s needs. Beginners start with a friendly chat about learning goals so lessons can be planned specifically for you—whether preparing for ABRSM, GCSE, A-Level, or Scottish National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher, or studying theory for enjoyment. Weekly sessions are usually 30 or 60 minutes long and follow school term-time dates. I teach all ages from around 6+, focusing on clear understanding, applying concepts to practical music, and building confidence. Lessons are available weekday evenings with limited weekend availability. They can take place online or in person at my house or I can travel to you (travel fee may apply depending on distance).
