About Marcus
As a conductor, pianist and composer I work in concert and opera houses in Germany, England, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Japan. I studied orchestral conducting, composition, piano, singing and music theory at the Berlin University of the Arts and at the Hanns Eisler University of Music. I have been coaching and teaching since my studies.

For advanced learners and professionals, we analyze the level of knowledge together and consider the areas of harmony, melody, rhythm, functionality or the knowledge of instruments that can still be expanded. If you have a special interest in a field or in project-related practical work, a correspondingly deeper understanding is generated and applied. For beginners, we start from the simple basic elements of harmony theory, metrics, rhythm and ear training, and always try to link and apply the theory in a practical way. With regard to harmony, I teach in the tradition of Arnold Schönberg and Hanns Eisler.
