About Michael
Hey! Thank You for taking the time to learn more about what I do.
I have been teaching music for myself and in various schools around Montreal since 2003 and have been playing since 1997. I hold a college degree in music studies from Vanier and a Bachelors in Music from Concordia University, along with certificates in Rock, Blues, Arrangement and Music Theory from Berklee College of Music.
I have also had the pleasure of gigging and performing live in many bands along with writing and recording original music and playing on other peoples sessions.
That about sums it up! Looking forward to working with you!

Mike is an amazing and passionate player. I had the pleasure of working with Michael for 3 years. His friendliness and advanced guitar skills are matched by his in-depth knowledge and dedication to his students. Mike is your guy!
Mike is an awesome guitar and bass player, impeccable technique, and a great composer.
He's very passionate about music, playing and teaching.
I learn a lot from him and I also had the chance to meet some of his students and they were all great musicians as well.
He is reliable and an cool person, easy to deal with.I highly recommend Mike. He was my guitar/theory teacher and is by far one of my favourite instructors of all time. He is a skilled musician and also knows how to pass on information according to your needs, which to me is what makes him an ideal instructor.
He is down to earth, approachable, and versatile. He takes full advantage of each lesson without overwhelming you, and has even helped me with an original composition. Thanks to Mike, I've made a career in music and am confident playing my instrument.
