About Joshua
I am Saxophonist, Clarinet and Flautist from Britain who has come to study music at the Victoria University of Wellington. I studied music, history, geography and English literature in Britain for A Levels. I have played Saxophone (my primary instrument) for nigh on 10 years now and have Grade 8 Saxophone myself. I am also proficient in Clarinet and Flute, playing them in orchestras and jazz bands.

Lessons will aim to incorporate a mixture of technical study of the instrument such as scales and arpeggios, and also the playing of pieces. Students will try a wide variety of pieces ranging from the western classical tradition to jazz to Latin to pop music.
The Abracadabra book series for teaching woodwinds will form the core of the teaching for beginner players while for more advanced players, playing music tailored to their desires such as ABRSM or Trinity Grades, or for schoolwork, will be accommodated.
