I taught as part of the HND course at the Academy of Music and Sound, offering SQA certificates courses as part of the HND and separate short courses such as - intro to studio recording. I have also worked as a Youth Music Initiative Tutor working to deliver sessions at youth music projects since 2019, so I'm able to work with young people effectively as well. 1hr sessions covering any aspect you like. For those who wish to learn music production from scratch, I like to intertwine Ableton sessions, basic music theory and aspects of mixing/mixdowns to enable students to develop a skillset which will allow them to go on and create for themselves. The music theory and mixing elements covered will be sufficient enough for students to understand how and why things may go wrong and how to approach fixing issues. I have been producing for around 11 years and hold a 2:1 in Music and Sound from London College of Music. For those wishing to learn to DJ, I cover - Digital DJing - controllers/software, CDJs - Vinyl DJing - Building playlists, structuring a set, networking, Social Media profile I would generally recommend that pupils are aged 12 and above as those any younger may not benefit much, but there are exceptions to every rule and I'd be most happy to chat on that front if you have any queries
