I am a music and mathematics graduate with a First-class BA.
Having specialised in composition, orchestration, theory and performance, I have developed essential skills in both classical and jazz music, and have been informally teaching this throughout my time at university.

I am open to teaching in many areas of music, so my methodology tends to vary and adapt to the needs of the student. Central to my approach is a 'university tutorial'-style lesson, where we first work to find the strengths and weaknesses of the student, then go through some content that I think will be both interesting and beneficial, and finish by having a relaxed conversation to summarise and inspire new ideas.
