About Farzad
Farzad Milani is an Iranian music producer, songwriter, quartertone accordion and piano player, and singer, and currently a music theory student at McGill University, based in Montreal. He started his musical adventure by playing the keyboard at the age of seven. And since then, he has produced and distributed several albums and singles, several compositions for film, theater, commercials, and live and charitable performances. His works are mostly a fusion of the traditional Middle Eastern melodies with a jazz-style harmony. Farzad recently initiated his quartertone accordion project to demonstrate the ability of this instrument in performing Persian modes.
