"Teaching remains my core focus because I vividly remember the exact moment a messy demo turned into a finished track. Helping others navigate that transformation is why I have spent 8 years refining my methods.
I offer honest and specific feedback between our actual meetings. The DAW environment can feel intimidating at first glance. My background at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music informs my technical approach to recording and tracking.
You will gain a repeatable process for EQ and compression that serves your workflow. We use layering and texture to build depth in your arrangements. MIDI sequencing becomes much simpler once you understand the fundamentals of signal flow. I guide home studio setups to get the best sound possible in any room.
Mixing becomes a logical set of choices rather than a mystery. Reverb and delay settings lose their complexity when you apply them with a purpose. Your creative process will be stronger long after we finish our series of lessons."
