About Christian
Having studied music from GCSE, and having recently finished my A Level studies in Music and Music Tech, I am looking to share my experience and knowledge gained from the subject. I have 8 years of guitar / musical experience, and have completed my grade 8 guitar certificate (Trinity) as well as my ABRSM grade 5 theory.
Outside of my studies, I have participated in many musical endeavours: I performed at both a 2019 college choir performance, as well as the summer and winter concerts. Preceding that, I played in the house band for drama productions / winter concerts in my former secondary school in London. I work with bands outside my commitments, both in the performance and production fields.

My lessons are aimed towards beginner / intermediate electric guitar players, with a wide consideration of all genres! (In terms of grades, 1-6.)
I am very patient and accommodating with my teaching style: I would ask the student to demonstrate any prior guitar skills to gauge their experience before delving into any aspect of their choosing, which would be consolidated with work / exercises for the next lesson. Songs, theory, technical skills, you name it!
I'm not shy of teaching the theory behind the practical exercises, as it serves to widen the student's knowledge and aptitude of the guitar. (I won't bombard you with theory and staff notation, however :) )
I love to see enthusiasm from my students for music and am very encouraging! I like to take a relaxed approach to my lessons so as to not make music scary, and develop a love and sense of enjoyment for it!
My lessons will take place over Zoom, of which I will share resources for the student during / at the end of the lesson.
