About Anna
I am Anna Akopova, a professional vocal teacher, an artist (stage name 'Belle") and a music producer. I have been teaching vocals since 2006. My experience includes: teaching professional actors in different theatres , musicals and Drama Academies sound and music producing of several successful projects (choice of music material ,work as a band leader at the rehearsals, sound producing during recordings in studios , preparation for concerts and live performances). I have great results, working with children (age 10-16) individually and in groups. I started my music education when I was 6. I spent 8 years in music school in Moscow, learning to play the piano and then decided to become a professional singer. I entered a Music College of pop and jazz art and spent more than 4 years mastering my vocals and piano techniques. In college I fell in love with R&B, Soul, Blues and Funk. After listening to major artists such as Alicia Keys, Sade, Seal, Mariah Carey and Destinys Child I took my love for music to a higher level. After becoming a professional vocalist, musician and a vocal teacher, I continued my studies, taking private lessons with a famous vocal teacher Seth Riggs ( a world known vocal teacher who taught Michael Jackson for 32 years as well as Stevie Wonder, JLO etc.) in Los Angeles and then with Barbara Amo, vocal teacher at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. Apart from music college, I spent 1 year at the Russian Academy of Drama Art as a student of the Acting Department. The Love of Music inspired me to explore new levels in music and after another 5 years I graduated from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow as a music producer. I write music (and lyrics) and for 5 years I was as a major artist on Darkstarz Records, NY, USA and performed as an American singer. In 2015 I was chosen to perform in Toronto at Canadian Music Week with the concert of my own songs.
