About Amir
I have been teaching English for over 7 years now. I have taught over one hundred students in one-to-one and group lessons, both online and in-person. I can confidently say that I have benefited from our lessons just as much as they have. I have discovered new teaching techniques and material, tested their efficiency, and had the privilege of watching my students improve and fulfill their learning goals. My students have expressed their content and satisfaction with our classes and some continue to take classes with me after 2 years now. I understand every student has his/her own area in the English language (such as: pronunciation, grammar, listening,...) in which he/she struggles or seeks to improve. I dedicate sufficient time in our first lesson to understand what the student wants us to focus on in our lessons as well to discover what method of teaching he/she finds most effective and comfortable for them to achieve their learning goals. I have taught over a hundred students one-on-one and, as a result, I now have quite an arsenal of teaching approaches that I try implementing with my students until we find the methodology that best suits them.
