About Linka
Hello
I have some experience in facilitating the arts for therapeutic purposes. I have trained with the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and got an advanced diploma.
I have volunteered and worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, including people suffering from mental illnesses or having special needs. My skills may help you understand how your art is an extension of your inner world and how to practice your art more meaningfully.
I also have a diploma in illustration and studied Fine Art in France. I have some practice in different art techniques, such as calligraphy, illustration, comics, digital and traditional art forms.
I also worked in an art gallery as a graphic designer and I have exhibited my personal art twice in 2019 so I have a broad knowledge of different aspects of art.

I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual, whether you require practical advice to improve your artwork or you wish to gain greater awareness and mindfulness in your art practice.
If you are open to it, my lesson would start with a very short breathing exercise, followed by a very short drawing exercise. This is to bring awareness, both physically and emotionally, in the art practice to follow. For the rest of the lesson, you will be working on something specific that we agreed upon. During this time, I will be able to see you in your practice and reflect back to you any advice that may be useful.
We would then finish the session with another short breathing exercise to bring the lesson to a close.
Of course, all this is up to you and your needs. Therefore if you prefer to get stuck in straight away, we can do so. If you feel uncomfortable drawing with me, you can choose to use the lesson time to show me your artworks so we can discuss them in depths. This lesson is your time so it can be used at your convenience in whatever form you prefer.
