About Cameron
I have an Honours Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education, and have been teaching private music lessons for 5 years. I have written and released multiple albums across a variety of projects, and am actively writing and performing both originals and covers with others. I also worked as a tutor for Lakehead Public School Board in Ontario

I base my teaching methodology on prioritizing the understanding of a student's desires and needs first; what they actually want to achieve musically, and what they plan to use music for. Some want to learn to play chords to play songs for fun, some aspire to be professional musicians one day. My pedagogy will revolve around that, with an emphasis on personal accountability and self-assessment via developing listening skills, and by learning to feel music in creative terms.
Learning music should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience!

I set my rates based on experience, having taught privately for 5 years as well as having an HBA Music and BA in Education. As well, I think it's important to note that I am an active musician and am constantly learning new things and improving upon my skills and knowledge, which I can then share with my students :)
