About Lucinda
I have been a nurse for 30 plus years, recently a nursing clinical instructor and NCLEX tutor with Varsity Tutors. I love teaching and ensuring that future nurses are well prepared for their upcoming journey. I have extensive experience and training in Cardiology, Neurology, ICU, CCU, Open Heart Recovery, but I feel very comfortable teaching all NCLEX subjects and my pass rate as an NCLEX tutor is 95%. I look forward to working with all of you wonderful caring pre-nurses!

My lessons are specifically designed around each student’s needs and interests. And the student’s strengths are highlighted and the learning process is individually tailored to the student’s specific learning strategies. The student’s learning plan is specialized once discussed with the student to best increase the chances of success. No one student has exactly the same specialized tutoring plan. We will also discuss status and comfort levels with certain subjects and transition mid-lesson if necessary. I want to help all nursing students succeed.
