About Dmitry
I completed undergraduate studies in virology at Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2003 and got a PhD in bioinformatics at the Institute for Information Transmission Problems in 2009. From 2010 to 2013 I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in the group headed by Prof. Andrei Osterman. From 2013 to 2018 I worked in the Molecular System Physiology Group (headed by Prof. Ines Thiele) at Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine as a Research Associate. From 2019 I work in the group of Prof. Ines Thiele at the School of Medicine, National University of Ireland, Galway. My scientific interests include functional and comparative genomics of Prokaryotes, functional annotation of genes and proteins, and reconstruction of metabolic and regulatory networks.
