About Noor
Having studied Educational Psychology and having ADHD myself, I know firsthand how important it is to deliver lessons in a format that is most beneficial (and fun!) for you. I like to use a strength-based approach and draw on your preferred learning style to shape each lesson. I have taught online 1-1 English classes for over a year (May 2022-January 2024). Having received an A in Psychology A-Levels and going on to complete my MA in Psychology - with a research focus on experimental psychology, perception and individual differences - I am particularly passionate about teaching Psychology. I hope to cover all the areas of Psychology in your syllabus in depth while making it tailored to your learning style and goals.

I am currently completing my MSc in Psychology from Cardiff University. My research and academic interests include Developmental and Clinical Psychology, and I am passionate about applying educational psychology to my lessons so that you get the most out of each lesson! I also have a BA in Film Studies from King's College London (2:1) and a Master's in Anthropology of Development (Merit) from the University of Sussex. I have experience teaching group sessions on Developmental Psychology (in schools and community settings as part of my research) and 1-1 English Language classes since May 2022 (Conversations Over Borders). I look forward to working with you 1-1 and making individualised lesson plans to best suit your individual learning style, needs and goals.
