I am completing my own dissertation to complete a master's degree in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes University in association with Oxford University Department of Continuing Education. I was awarded the Women's Studies Paper Prize and the Charles Donohue prize for Historical Writing for my undergraduate thesis at Fordham University.

A few years ago, I was a teaching assistant in English as a second language in Madrid. In my experience, teaching is a reciprocal relationship. Tailoring lesson plans to each specific class is absolutely necessary, as each class/pupil learns differently. At this level, focusing on research methods is integral. To complete a successful dissertation, research needs to be thorough and action oriented. My lesson plans will focus on how best to achieve the right balance of sources to develop the student's ideas.
